The studyabroad period in Asia includes language courses within the local partner university as well as a total immersion in the Asian country's life; complementary courses about history, culture or society are often proposed in addition to language courses.

Such period is used to develop professional contacts, too: these can prove to be very beneficial for the preparation of the end-of-studies internship as well as for the search of the first job.

Students have a wide choice of selection of parner university (refer to "Academic partners" section : http://asia.isuga.fr/cn/espace_etudiants/partenaires_academiques); in the fall of 2009, European students learning Chinese language selected partners from Beijing - Suzhou - Shanghai - Hong Kong whereas those learning Japanese language selected Nagasaki - Toyama - Kyushu.
